I remember what a big deal this book was when it came out, because it was the first "official" post Return of the Jedi story. This trilogy is basically the original version of the Sequel Trilogy before it became Legends. The solo children - Jacen, Jaina and Anakin Solo - are a huge deal in the New Jedi Order story that comes after this one.
I think Mara Jade and Talon Carde would be awesome to see returned to canon in some way shape or form!
It's fascinating to me just how much content is Legends! And so far it's been amazing content to explore. I'll have to bump the New Jedi Order books up and read them at some point this year.
